The drought is affecting the amount and quality of the grass and pasture. It has also affected the amount and quality of the irrigated alfalfa and the dryland crops. Our property has not received any measurable precipitation since June 19. We have also curtailed projects because of the high fire danger in the pastures and fields. We have had a large fire 10 miles away and the grass looked like September grass from the first part of July.
